Fairies in my Garden

Hi all those who love fairies.

Hi all those who love fairies.  I live in a lovely part of the world surrounded by old growth trees, water, snow capped mountains, lots of moss and ferns, pine cones and twigs.  Every day when I am outside I sense that there are fairies.  Under the tall umbrella pine tree stands little door on the trunk of the tree with a ladder made by two little girls so the fairies can climb to the door, just in case their wings flap against the trunk which would make it very hard to perch. The girls hung a little fairie spoon with tiny bells collects the dew and rain water so they have a place to perch and wash themselves just in case they happen to fly into a spider web and wrap their bodies in sticky spider silk.  Sometimes I have seen them make lovely clothing out of the silk so I think it depends upon the fairy.  They are not always visible.  That’s why it is so exciting to know they are there but very careful about being seeing.  Do you have anything like this in your garden?  If so I want
to hear .  There is so much more to tell about fairies in my garden.

Riley, I am coming to your house Christmas eve and wonder if you know how to make a fairy hammock? Do you already have a fairy hammock? Maybe when you and I and Paloma and Melina get together again we should make one if you don’t have one. We should meet in Portland at your house because it is half way between Olympia and Eugene. Let me know what you think and also let me and Paloma and Melina know about the :green: fairy in your back yard. If you read above on this fairy blog you will see what the fairies are doing in Eugene. Yikes!!! Fairies are everwhere. Isn’t this nice? xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx T’anne

I have a fairy named Philbert. I haven’t written to him for a long time, but I think I will soon. If I don’t maybe AunTanne and I can write something to him at Christmas and leave him a present.

His house was dug up by my dad so I need to make a new one. Maybe you can help me and find a better place to do it.

    Thank you!

    Love Riley

Dear Riley, I think you and I should write a letter at Christmas time to your fairy. But maybe Paloma and Melina and you and I should email each other before we write and talk about what we should write. I would like to know EXACTLY where your Dad dug up the fairy turf? And why did he need to do that if he knew fairies lived there. I know there must have been a very good reason for him to do that because he is very fine father and fairies know that.
so that is something we should discuss and then we can all decide what to do about that situation. Thank you for blogging. I love you and Paloma and Melina and all the parents involved. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Dear Riley, Paloma and Melina. I have mushrooms all over my yard. Little tiny ones, big ones, some brown, some orange and some cream color.
I found out I could eat some of them so I made a mushroom chowder the other nite and put a little teeny tiny bit of it in a tiny clam shell and put it by the front door of the our fairy tree. It was all gone in ten minutes soooooooooo I put out a little bit more in an oyster shell and that was gone right away too. How many fairies does it take to eat that amount of chowder? Do you think they are hungry? Do you think I should put a little cracker there too? Let me know. Nannie, T’a
